I’m Elizabeth Vineyard—a first-year
Journalism student at the University of Texas. This spring in Cape Town will be
my first time studying abroad in college, and my long-awaited second trip to
Africa. I am passionate about writing, physical fitness, and learning about
different cultures, which I am thrilled to experience through a service project
alongside South African entrepreneurs. I hope to create meaningful change working
in areas involving education, arts, healthcare, or even communication. Travel
is undoubtedly another passion of mine, and I am counting down the days until
this remarkable service learning opportunity in South Africa.
